La manifestazione dei rievocatori, chiamata Matasz Don-81 è stata organizzata dall’Hungarian National Association of Reservists, qualcosa di simile alla Guardia Nazionale americana. Ha consisto in una marcia di 35 chilometri nei dintorni della città di Sopron. Centinaia i partecipanti e notevole il risalto mediatico in Ungheria.
Compito di noi italiani volontari rievocatori di Gotica Toscana, gestire un checkpoint lungo il percorso, dov’è stato ricostruito un piccolo comando tappa sul fronte russo. Bella la ricostruzione. Tante le persone presenti. È stato un successo.
Tra le altre cose, i volontari hanno donato alcune copie del libro LE FOSSE DI KIROV al Presidente nazionale dei riservisti, a due responsabili locali della stessa associazione, e a un responsabile del dipartimento per le onoranze ai caduti.
