We inaugurated with great enthusiasm the season of guided tours dedicated to middle school students engaged in studying the Second World War. Divided into groups, the children followed an interactive history lesson with interest, showing a lively curiosity, especially when they were able to touch the historical objects that fascinate them so much.
The afternoon was equally engaging, spent on the battlefields that were once the scene of dramatic conflicts. Under a bright sun, the young people explored those places that witnessed great sacrifices, giving rise to a lively dialogue full of questions. These interactions confirmed to us how fundamental education is to transmit not only knowledge of the past, but also the values of freedom and peace.
These experiences reveal the importance of knowing the history of the Second World War to better understand the present and become active promoters of freedom, that same freedom that was conquered with courage and determination by those who came before us. We are passionately committed to these initiatives, aware that educating young people through history is a powerful tool to combat the pitfalls of indifference and strengthen our collective commitment towards a future of peace and understanding.
