The MuGot – Museo Gotica è sede di HMV -History Military Vehicle Italia. Quest’anno i collezionisti e gli appassionati partecipano a un eventi importantissimo: l’80° dello sbarco in Normandia, operazione “Overlord”, l’operazione World War II's most impressive military.
HMV Italy is preparing to participate as early as 2021 and will bring about 45 historic American vehicles of various kinds including armored vehicles and 180 members and family members to French soil; a logistical operation never before carried out by an Italian club for a unique experience. The tourist and cultural offer is very broad and will involve collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world; for us at HMV Italy a unique opportunity to see historic vehicles of all types and to share our experiences. Even with the inconveniences that some 2 million tourists will entail for obvious reasons, the beauty of Normandy and the charm of the History that took place here will be the setting for a unique Anniversary because the Veterans will still be the real protagonists.
Arrival in Normandy
First day in Normandy for our crews who started using the historic vehicles today; a free day to get acquainted with the camp and accommodations and visit the many beautiful attractions of Normandy such as museums, markets and camps. In the evening, a nice dinner of local products, cheeses, cured meats, pâtés, oysters and desserts and the inevitable baguettes that our Bakers Company provided!

The Heavy Trucks of HVM Italia
The fleet of heavy trucks has arrived at Isigny-sur-Mer. Preparations for the base camp are underway as we await the arrival of the crews.

And with these two M8 Greyhounds we completed the last load. The rendezvous for everyone, car transporters, flatbeds, trolleys and daredevils on rubber is at HMV Italy base camp in Isigny sur Mer!
