To follow the itineraries it is useful to download the application Koomot on your smartphone, free and easy to use. It allows you to read the routes highlighted below on the go, complete with descriptions of the highlights (points of interest) and photographs useful for identifying the finds.

4 easy itineraries allow you to visit the positions affected by the Battle of Passo del Giogo. They are part of the three main areas of the war scenario inherent to the breakthrough of the Gothic Line. There are a total of 21 locations that can be visited through the Itineraries: bunkers, shelters, infirmary, ditches, fox-holes, shooting positions, command bunkers... Some installations can be visited freely, others require an appointment at the Mugot.

From the Tyrrhenian to the Adriatic: Trekking on the Gothic Line

We collect here a series of routes on the Gothic Line that mark the Apennines, from Cinquale (LU) on the Tyrrhenian Sea to Montecchio (PU) on the Adriatic. The routes are adaptations of the 26 stages (+2 appendices) provided by THE PATH OF THE GOTHIC LINE as described on https://www.camminolineagotica.it/; a set of routes developed by the Marche social cooperative CO.ST.E.S.S., based in Jesi (AN): www.costess.it. We thank the friends of Costess for the great work done, on which we relied to propose these excursions again by tracing them with Komoot. These routes offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and landscapes of this important defensive line. Routes that are much more than simple walks: they are journeys through the memory and history of a crucial period.

For any need for information or clarification we are available: info@goticatoscana.eu. Good walk !
