Castel del Rio (BO) // War Museum – Gothic Line

The War Museum – Gothic Line of Castel del Rio is an important centre of historical memory that recounts the events of the Second World War. Founded in 1978, the museum houses a large collection of more than 2,000 relics, including weapons, uniforms, photographs and documents, many of which were donated by the local community. The exhibition is divided into three main sections covering the Great War, the Second World War with particular attention to the Santerno Valley front, and partisan activity. The museum, housed on the second floor of Palazzo Alidosi, also organises events such as the “Militaria” exhibition-market every year in May
