The 2025 edition of A Dive into History brought nearly 200 reenactors to Passo del Giogo. Between commemorative marches, artillery, Monuments Men, and scenes of military life, the event transformed the sites of the Gothic Line into a theater of memory. Guest of honor was actor James Madio, star of Band of Brothers, who shared moments of great humanity with reenactors and the public.

A gesture of remembrance from the daughter of traffic officer Erio Breri, a protagonist of the Resistance. The article also retraces the mystery of the Germans’ failure to destroy the Ponte Vecchio.

Educational visit to MUGOT in Ponzalla for Recanati Middle Schools, including an exploration of World War II historical artifacts and a hike to Mount Altuzzo. Students had the opportunity to discover the history of the Gothic Line, visit bunkers and trenches and reflect on the importance of freedom and peace. An experience that combined education, nature and historical memory, helping new generations understand the value of sacrifice and freedom.
