Discover the decisive stages of the Allied advance from Tuscany to Emilia-Romagna through a series of hiking routes that follow the traces left by the wartime events of 1944 and 1945. The routes will gradually cover more areas and will be progressively enriched with historical information and photographs. 

These routes will take you through evocative valleys, leading you to the places where crucial battles took place, culminating in the liberation of Bologna. Each route is designed around specific historical episodes, allowing you to walk in the footsteps of the soldiers who fought in locations such as the Futa Pass, Covigliaio, Monghidoro, the Raticosa Pass, Loiano, Livergnano, Monte Sole, Monte Battaglia, Monte Adone, Pianoro, etc. Along these paths, you will have the opportunity to relive the military strategies, acts of courage, and human stories that marked this phase of the Second World War, all while immersed in the spectacular landscapes of the Tuscan-Emilian-Romagnol Apennines.
