The August 29–30, 2026 returns to the Giogo Pass A Dive into History®, the event organised by Gotica Toscana APS that, for two days, transforms one of the most iconic sites of the Gothic Line into a large open-air history museum.

Reenactors, encampments, military vehicles, equipment and historical reconstructions will guide visitors through the lives of the soldiers and the events that unfolded at the Giogo Pass in September 1944. More than one hundred reenactors will bring to life the positions and bunkers restored over the years by Gotica Toscana, recounting real episodes and events from the fighting.

Among the highlights of the 2026 edition, the Giogo Pass will for the first time also feature a German 8.8 cm Flak gun, one of the most famous weapons of the Second World War, alongside U.S. artillery.

Evento storico e culturale in Toscana con rievocazioni e spettacoli dal vivo, dedicato alla memoria e alla storia locale, in programma il 29 e 30 agosto 2026.
