Il corpo di spedizione brasiliano – Força Expedicionária Brasileira, FEB – soprannominato Cobras Fumantes (i cobra fumanti), era una divisione militare che combatteva come parte delle forze alleate in Italia. Contava circa 25.900 uomini. Sotto il comando degli Stati Uniti, le truppe brasiliane combatterono dal settembre 1944 al maggio 1945. Prese parte ai combattimenti sulla Linea Gotica e durante l’offensiva finale del 1945. La FEB perse 948 uomini combattendo nelle battaglie di Monte Castello, Garfagnana, Collecchio, Bologna, Montese.
